Our Beginning
A Dream Turned into a Destination
Lumière was born in 2015 from founder Isabelle Morin's frustration with the lack of access to truly premium beauty in South Africa. After 15 years working with the world's leading beauty houses in Paris, London, and New York, she returned home with a singular vision: create a boutique that felt like stepping into a Parisian beauty atelier.
From a small concept store in Johannesburg's Rivonia, Lumière quickly gained a devoted following among beauty enthusiasts who appreciated the carefully considered edit and the exceptional, knowledgeable service.
Today, we're proud to carry over 200 products from more than 20 of the world's most prestigious beauty brands — each one personally selected and approved by our expert team.
